Notice of Public Logic and Accuracy Test
The Twin Falls County Clerk will conduct a public logic and accuracy test to demonstrate to the public the vote tally system is accurately reading and tabulating votes cast. The test will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Twin Falls County West, 1st floor Election Counting room. Idaho Code §34-2426.

TWIN FALLS COUNTY NOTICE OF ELECTION
Pursuant to Idaho Code §34-1406, public notice is hereby given that the following Election will be held on May 19, 2026 – Kimberly School District No. 414 Special General Obligation Bond Election and School Plant Facilities Levy Election. The polls will be open between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the polling places designated below by the Board of Twin Falls County Commissioners.
NOTICE OF SPECIAL GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND ELECTION
Pursuant to the laws of the State of Idaho and the Bond Election Resolution of the Board of Trustees of School District No. 414, Twin Falls County, State of Idaho (the “District”), adopted on March 3, 2026, notice is hereby given that a Special General Obligation Bond Election will be held in the District on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, beginning at the hour of 8:00 A.M. and closing at the hour of 8:00 P.M. on said date, on the question of whether the District shall be empowered to issue general obligation school bonds of said District in the principal amount not to exceed $57,834,000, to be repaid not later than thirty (30) years from the date of issuance thereof.
The projects to be financed by the sale of the proposed bonds are the costs of (i) acquisition, construction, furnishing and equipping of (1) a fine arts center and auditorium, (2) a gymnasium, (3) a community field house, and (4) new athletic fields, and (ii) renovation of parking lots at the high school and middle school, together with all equipment and facilities necessary to operate said projects and costs and expenses related thereto.
The interest rate anticipated on the proposed bond issue, based upon current market rates, is four and forty hundredths percent (4.40%) per annum. The total amount estimated to be repaid over the life of the bonds, based on the anticipated interest rate, is $105,236,750, consisting of $57,834,000 in principal and $47,402,750 of interest. The term of the bonds will not exceed thirty (30) years from the date of issuance.
The estimated average annual cost to the taxpayer on the proposed bond levy is a tax of $277 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value, per year, based on current conditions.
As of May 19, 2026, the total existing bonded indebtedness of the District, including interest accrued, is $14,711,618.
NOTICE OF SCHOOL PLANT FACILITIES RESERVE FUND LEVY ELECTION

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN according to law, and the requisite action of the Board of Trustees of School District No. 414, Twin Falls County, State of Idaho (the “District”), that a School Plant Facilities Reserve Fund Levy election will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, in the District for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of said District their vote and determination, by affirmative vote of fifty-five percent (55%) of the electors voting in such election, at precinct polling sites open 8:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m. on the following question:
QUESTION: Shall the Board of Trustees of School District No. 414, Twin Falls County, State of Idaho (the “District”) be authorized and empowered, upon the affirmative vote of fifty-five percent (55%) of the electors of the District voting in the election, to levy a School Plant Facilities Reserve Fund Levy in the amount of up to Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000) for Fiscal Year beginning July 1, 2026, and continuing each year in the amount of up to Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000) for ten (10) years through fiscal year ending June 30, 2036, for the purposes permitted by law for school plant facilities levies?
The estimated average annual cost to the taxpayer on the proposed levy is a tax of $40 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value, per year, based on current conditions. The proposed levy replaces an existing levy that expires on June 30, 2026, and that currently costs $24 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value. Therefore, if the proposed levy is approved, the tax per $100,000 of taxable assessed value is expected to increase by $16 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value.
Said election will be conducted pursuant to Title 34, Idaho Code.

NOTICE OF ELECTION TO CREATE NEW TAXING DISTRICT
Pursuant to Idaho Code §27-106, public notice is hereby given that a petition has been received by Twin Falls County for the creation of a Rock Creek Magic Valley Veterans Memorial Cemetery Maintenance District. A public hearing was held on January 20, 2026 where the Twin Falls County Commissioners allowed public comment upon such petition and have considered the comments made. The petition has been granted and on February 2, 2026, the Twin Falls County Board of Commissioners declared an election shall be held to determine the creation of Rock Creek Magic Valley Veterans Memorial Cemetery Maintenance District . The boundaries for the proposed Rock Creek Magic Valley Veterans Memorial Cemetery Maintenance District are: all of Sections 25 through 36, Township 10 South, Range 18 East, Boise Meridian; along with all of Sections 1 through 24, Township 11 South, Range 18 East, Boise Meridian. The road boundaries are as follows: West Boundary: 3300 East; East Boundary: 3900 East; North Boundary: 3700 North; and South Boundary: 3100 North. The district would consist of approximately 21,861 acres with an assessed value in the amount of $493,401,530.00 with a levy rate of .000161694. The tax on property with an assessed value of $100,000.00 will be $16.17 per year. The description of the boundaries of the proposed district and a map can be viewed at the Twin Falls County Clerk’s office at 630 Addison Ave. West. Eligible electors will be asked the following question:
“Shall a Rock Creek Magic Valley Veterans Memorial Cemetery Maintenance District be created in Twin Falls County for the purpose of maintaining, improving, and beautifying cemeteries for the burial of the human dead within the Rock Creek Magic Valley Veterans Memorial Cemetery Maintenance District for an amount not greater than four hundredths of one percent (.04%) of the market value for assessment purposes on all taxable property in the district?
The initial aggregate amount of taxes that will be raised in the proposed taxing district if the election is successful will be $79,780. The increased tax will be $16.17 per $100,000 of taxable value of property, above any exemption, of residential property, commercial property, industrial property, land actively devoted to agriculture, and operating property.
The election shall be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the purpose of creating Rock Creek Magic Valley Veterans Memorial Cemetery Maintenance District. at the polling places designated below by the Board of Twin Falls County Commissioners.

Press Release Public Test and Early Voting May 2026
Public Test
The Twin Falls County Clerk will be conducting the pre-election Public Logic and Accuracy (L&A) test of the DS850’s and DS200’s on Tuesday, April 21 at 1:00 p.m. This test involves running a predetermined set of test ballots to ensure the election software accurately reads and tabulates votes. The test and demonstration will be conducted at Twin Falls County West, 630 Addison Avenue West, 1st floor Counting Room. You are invited to attend, watch and ask questions about the counting procedures.
In Person Early Voting
Early voting will begin on Monday, April 27 at Twin Falls County West, Early Voting office, 1st floor, 630 Addison Avenue West. You may vote from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday until Friday, May 15, 2026.
Personal Identification is Required to Vote
All registered voters will be required to provide personal identification before voting at the polls on Election Day or voting early at County West. Personal identification that may be presented shall be one of the following:
· Idaho driver’s license or identification card issued by the Idaho Transportation Department;
· Passport or an identification card, including a photograph, issued by an agency of the United States government;
· Tribal identification card, including a photograph; or
· License to carry concealed weapons or enhanced license to carry concealed weapons
· If unable to present any of the above, the voter may complete an affidavit

Election Day Registration available
The last day to pre-register to vote is May 8. You may register and vote at early voting or on Election Day. Voters are required to provide their Idaho driver’s license or identification card number when registering, or if they do not have an Idaho driver’s license or identification card, provide the last four digits of their social security number. Voter qualifications are listed below:

· 18 years of age, or older
· A resident in the state and in the county for thirty (30) days prior to Election Day
· Registered as required by law
All voters registering will need to provide one of the approved photo ID’s and proof of residence to complete the registration process. If the residence address does not match the record on the approved photo ID, you must provide one of the approved proofs of residence documents to complete the registration process.
