Severe Weather

Did you know that Twin Falls County’s number one hazard is severe weather. Sheltering in place with your 72 hour Disaster Supplies Kit and your weather/battery operated radio will give you the resources you need when dealing with severe weather. Twin Falls County offers Storm Spotter training once a year for citizens to work closely with the Boise National Weather Service on spotting storms.  Having a NOAA weather Radio is also an important resource to have in your home, business, school or office to track potential severe weather events. More information on weather can be obtained from the NOAA National Weather Service at: http://www.noaa.gov/
