LEPC Meetings
The Twin Falls County Office of Emergency Management facilitates the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) meetings the second Tuesday of each month at 1:30 in Conference Room B at County West, 630 Addison Avenue West. These meetings are open to the general public with public comment the last 10 minutes of the meeting. A notice of the meeting is posted 10 days prior in the foyer of County West, 630 Addison Avenue West.
Directions:
Off of Martin Street go to the northeast entrance of the facility (large parking area) and go through the revolving door and head right. The meeting room is directly across the atrium and a sign will be posted.
The LEPC meetings are an opportunity for all first responding agencies in Twin Falls County to plan for table top, functional and full scale exercises, to discuss agency needs for equipment and training, to address SHSP grant funds, to review the County Emergency Operations and All Hazard Mitigation Plans, to educate the agencies/citizens with informational based power point presentations and workshops on numerous topics of interest related to emergency management, and address county incidents/events.
