Flooding – Disaster Services

The Twin Falls County Office of Emergency Management coordinates recourses in the time of a disaster or incident in Twin Falls County. The Department uses as a resource, the Emergency Operations Plan that is mirrored after the National Response Plan through the Office of Domestic Preparedness. This plan allows those city, government and first responding agencies the capabilities to handle incidents that may happen in Twin Falls County in a coordinated manner.

The Disaster Service Directors for Gooding, Jerome, Lincoln and Twin Falls County have received funding through grants to assist SIRCOMM in providing the citizens of the Magic Valley an emergency alert system to be known as SIRCOMM Citizen Alert Notification system or SIRCOMM C.A.N.

Get notified about emergencies and other important community news by signing up for SIRCOMM C.A.N.. This system enables us to provide you with critical information quickly in a variety of situations, such as fire and law enforcements emergencies, severe weather, hazardous material incidents, unexpected road closures, missing persons and evacuations of buildings or neighborhoods.
