Annual Property Tax Exempt Short Form

The Board of County Commissioners accept applications for property tax exemptions as per Idaho Code §63-602 between January 1st and April 15th of each year.  This includes exemptions for properties used for religious purposes, hospitals, school purposes, and charitable or benevolent purposes.  Once a property has received the initial approval, most generally require an annual approval using the Property Tax Exemption Short Form which is mailed out to each exempt property owner prior to February 15th each year. One form is required for each parcel receiving the tax exemption.   Forms must be received in our office by April 15th.  Late forms are not accepted.  Tax exemptions will be removed from properties that have not submitted the required form by April 15th. If you have any questions on this process, please contact the Commissioner’s Office at 208-736-4068.

Completed Property Tax Exemption Short Forms may be e-mailed to [email protected], mailed to the Twin Falls County Commissioners, P.O. Box 126, Twin Falls, ID 83303, or dropped off at the County Commissioners Office at 630 Addison Ave West, Suite 2300, Twin Falls, ID.
